Day 3 Osaka Universal Studio

If you are in Osaka and if you are a Mario fan, you cannot miss Osaka Universal Studio!!

One pieces of advise before we start - if you plan to go Osaka Universal Studio, please purchase you ticket online (e.g Klook) months before your trip. And if you want to visit Super Nintendo World, please buy the fast pass that include Super Nintendo World ride such as Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge™ or Yoshi's Adventure™. The reason is - your ride ticket guarantee an entrance time for your visit into Super Nintendo World. If you do not have such fast pass (and these pass sold out like hot cake), you may not have a chance to go into Super Nintendo World even if you are inside Universal Studio.

Below is an example of Studio Pass and Yoshi Adventure fast pass.

Next, you will need to install Universal Studio Osaka Official App before entering the park. Because, you will need the app for ride access.

Ok.. Early in the morning, we travel from JR Shin-Osaka to JR Universal City.

Universal City Station will lead you to the entrance of Universal Studio Osaka... Just follow the crowd...

As we are in Osaka around Christmas, there is a tall Christmas tree.

This is the highlight of this visit, but it is not our time to enter yet... 5pm....

So, we walked around the Jaw area

And toward Harry Potter land.

And we had our early lunch at Harry Potter land

This is the magic pot dessert... which I feel kind of cheated.. 😕

Beside Harry Potter, there are Snoopy, Hello Kitty and Minion!!

By the time we ended our ride at Minion Park, it is time for Super Nintendo World!!!

As we rush toward Super Nintendo World, Blue blocked our way... 😖

And finally, we are at Super Nintendo World!!!

Everyone is crazy inside the store!!

After the shop, it is our turn to ride Yoshi Adventure!! (still need to queue) Yoshi Adventure is a simple train ride which is suitable for baby!!

Oh.. before we go into Super Nintendo World, we gave up on Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge because the queue needs 2 hours. However, the ride went into "under maintenance" at 4pm and suddenly available at 8pm, which is the time we come out from Yoshi Adventure ride. We quickly run into the Bowser's Castle and queue for it!! Lucky us!! 😂  

Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge is a VR shooting ride that you have some control over the direction of the cart.

All good fun will come to the end. After the Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge, the park closed and we need to get out of the park.

Last struggle.... before we leave

It is around 2130 and most of the restaurants except Hard Rock Cafe are closed. So, we had a western dinner for the night before heading back to Hotel.
