Day 5 Hakone

Day 5 - We stays around Hakone for sightseeing. 

At Hotel Green Plaza Hakone, their breakfast are traditional breakfast with international buffet. It is fine but nothing spectacular.

One thing which is good about Green Plaza Hakone hotel is its location is very near to Ubako Ropeway Station. It is just behind the hotel about 3 minutes walk.

We took the ropeway from Ubako Station to Togendai station, which take around 10 minutes.

 

Once we reached Togendai station, we went to purchase a Hakone Free Pass around the station.

Below are some information about the Hakone Free Pass, which is 5000 Yen per adult.

First usage - Hakone Pirate Ship at Tōgendai Port!

Below is the estimate route from Tōgendai Port to Motohakone Port which took around 25 minutes.

It was already around noon, so, we decided to stop by Hakoneya for a nice Tempura meal.

Of course, being at Hakone, you must visit Hakone Shrine (箱根神社)

After some nice walk around Hakone shrine, we took the pirate ship back to Tōgendai Port.

Finally, we visited Le Petit Prince Muesum Hakone - but is now permanently closed on March 31, 2023. Sad....

Although we had visited many nice place, we could not find any dinner after 6pm. Eventually, we bought some instant food from Lawson and have microwave food at the Hotel.
