Japan - 2022 Osaka Hakone Tokyo 12 Days Itinerary (Day 6 Hakone Owakudani)

Continuing at Hakone, this is the most wanted day for this trip. But first, we have a breakfast at the Hotel

And visited the highlight of Green Plaza Hakone Hotel - the direct view of Mt Fuji.

Next, we take a bus up to Owakudani - it is a must go place in Hakone.

It has spectacular view of vocanic activities and view.

Most importantly, it has a stunning view of Mt Fuji. I am lucky enough to have a clear sky day to snap a lot of Mt Fuji pictures.

And of course, Hello Kitty in the famous black egg suit. The black onsen eggs are claims to be boild by Owakudani's natural hot springs. When we purchase the egg, there is boardcast saying that eating one egg will add seven years to your life.

The bus ride from Hotel Green Plaza Hakone is around 20 minutes.

Okwakudani is the last place I had visited in Hakone. After this, we went back to the Hotel to check out and continue our journey to Tokyo.

Now, the recommendation at this point - 

1) I would not recommend Hotel Green Plaza Hakone for anyone who do not drive or expecting good service. None of the hotel staff provide good support to me with regard to dinner, travel, room, etc.. Very very disappointed.

2) We made seat reservation for our Shinkansen trip from Odawara to Tokyo. However, we missed it. The funny thing is - you are not allow to make seat reservation for next available Shinkansen on the direction you are travelling. This is real ridiculous, but we need to suck our thumb and travel with non reserved seats.

We reached around Tokyo at 5pm-rish and go directly to our hotel - Sequence Suidobashi Tokyo

The hotel room is small but sufficiently equipped. And, it is very close to JR Suidobashi, which is a very good location. 

Behind the hotel, it is Tokyo Dome City.

And we decided to have a dinner at Pizzeria Mar de Napoli at Tokyo Dome city
